Its pretty easy... 1$ / 1170 = .0008547 $
Or 1$ / .0008547 = 1170 dinar
Or if it RV at 3.00 USD it would look like this
1$ / .33 = 3.00$
If they "quote" remove the zeros from .0008547 it would be 1$ / .8547 = 1.17$

I thought I had the same serial numbers too but look really close there may be just a slight difference like one little flick of a line some of their numbers look very similar,if you have the very same numbers on different bills they could be counterfeit

To figure exchange rate for US Dollars and Iraqi Dinar, simply divide 1 by the current value. Example:

If the dinar is equal to $4 US then divide 1 by 4 to get an exchange of 0.25

So each currency exchange looks like this..

1 IQD = 4 USD
1 USD = 0.25 IQD

Currently 1 dinar is worth about 0.000856 USD (about 1/10 of a penny) so it takes about 1170 dinar to equal 1 USD.

1 / 1170 = 0.00086

The CBI web site shows the exchange rate of how many dinar it takes to make 1 USD, which is 1170. If the value increases to where 1 dinar = $3 USD then this will show as 0.333, which is how many dinar it takes to make 1 USD.

1 / 3 = 0.333

1 IQD = $3 USD
1 USD = 0.333 IQD

So simply put, if you want to know what the iraqi exchange rate versus the USD will be, just divide 1 by the expected rate. Hope this helps.

Don't bother to go and look at any Dinar or Dong exchange websites. When the RV happens, each Dinar will be worth between the range of $32-38 and the Dong will be between the range of $6-11. That is the range for the U.S. contract rate, not the international or market rate, as per Father God and the Galactics. This is a Gift of God to humanity. We deserve our Father's blessings. So Be It!!

I sure hope people realize that if and when the Dinar is finally R V'd that the beginning rate to the US Dollar will slide downward!

Until the "cashing in" subsides and slows down--it will be pandemonium and chaos and a little bit more!

Thanks for that info. Have you heard anything on the Dong? It seems that no one talks about that currency. I don't know why, because I think it has a greater yield then the dinar. I will be glad when you send out the 800 #'s.

Hello, can anyone please tell me what the first part of the Iraqi Dinar serial number means and how to convert it, i have figured out how to do the last part which is the 7 numbers, but cannot find out how to convert the first part which looks like some sort of symbol with a line through the middle of it.

Thomas, I think I’ve found the answer! I had a chat with a rep from a banknote online company and she said that the ‘symbol’ is part of the serial number. If your Dinar note has something that resembles a backwards ‘c’ at the top of the line, that is a ‘Z’. She gave me a link to a Dinar note with the serial number above the image. As an example, it read,
“Z/103 1234567”
I hope this helps you and others!
