All these people,now with (wink,wink,) Bank Stories.Some Great.Some at least know of it. I promise,not one bank in N.J. Has.I spoke to 6 ( main banks) in every state I called.then I spoke to foreign-exchange managers then I went to the top sites from California to New York for exchanging currency.i'm starting to get wigged out because they're not kidding when they say they don't know I mean they're really not you could tell they don't know anything

As as of right now there is nothing you can do to make money in Iraq unless your last name is Bush, Kennedy, or one of the unique few who were lucky enough toe be in on the kill of the Iraqi Govt. and the Iraqi oil business for those few greedy Americans and a relative few Europeans who were on hand to watch bot Bush Sr, and Bush Jr. destroy the Iraqi people, their country, oil industry, their jobs, and Dinar value to the point it became worthless. If you go back and read the news you will realize President Saddam was the best President in the history of the country and his fight was not with the USA but with Iran and Islamic terrorism as is America's and the world today.and Thanks to the Democatic Party and the liberal left the USA and Europe with the likes of German leaders Markel and Tersia May in Britain Islamization of Europe and the Americas is nearing (unless people wake up) Terrorism will be the future of the entire planet soon. When George Bush Sr. Invaded Iraq the (in the erly 1990s the Iraqi Dinar was valued at $7.50 USA Dollar Bill (one Dinar equaled $7.50 American Dollar). After the invasion It went to nearly zero. After the Americans pulled out the Dinar rose again to the tune of each Dinar equals to $3.50 in American Dollars. The 2nd invasion of Iraq led to the revaluation of the Dinar to about .00000000 per each Dollar and today it takes 1191.35 dinars to equal one dollar even though their stable industry oil is being pumped out about as fast as it was before the war. The difference the average Iraqi citizen sees none of this fortune due to greedy american and foreign business , and Govt. leaders. In truth if ever told Saddam Hussein was the best friend American and the Iraqis has in the region and his fight was not with America or Europe but with Iran , communism, and their terror regimes . It was all about greedy Business leaders in Britain and America like the Bush regimes not freedom and the death of thousands of american and european troops, as well as the deaths of millions of Middle eastern citizens never entered the minds of those responsible in both bush Regimes nor does it today in the minds of our present readers. There is no excuse for the American and a few other governments keeping the dinar at starvation levels for the Iraqi peoples other than greed. .

It is quite simple really, you check the exchange rate on xe.com go in the bank ask to speak to the manager, the girl on reception asks Why? you say you would like to exchange some foreign currency and for this to be credited in your account. Depending on how much you have will then know how long you are staying. Your account is credited and you are now a multi millionair.

I foresee a problem with getting your money out of that bank. Unless you write a check to another bank or person or trading account, people are being asked at their banks what the money is for etc and there are limits as to how much you can take out, etc. I was asked at our local bank the other day what the international transfer (only $1500) was going to be used for. I used to work in banks and I was shocked. None ya is what I wanted to say.

Sir/Madam, You are obviously not believer. That certainly is your right. Two things are true. One, you do not understand the political/economical evolution Iraq is experiencing. But two, just because you don,t believe what I do does not give you the option to call names, curse at "our" journey, or criticize the RV of a foreign currency. I too am a working person, but I am well educated on currency, history, and politics.

Amen. God is tremendiously good. (just a quick note to JD, If it wasn't for the Bush's we would not be in this economical crises today, I feel extreamly sorry for President Obama comming into such a mess.
I was lucky enough for my one brother to inform me of the Dinar. Being on Social Security Disability, there is never enough money to buy any Dinar, but I did my research as a previous stock broker and saw the simaliarities to Kawiat and what happened with there RV. This has been a roller coaster ride with "It will happen tomorrow or next week". But it can not go much longer and it has to happen. When it happens (not if) my Social Security Disability will be chunk change. This is a Blessing to anyone who was wise enough to get involved. I so much would like to get another 1 million dinar reserve, but can not swing it now.

But the funniest comments from banks the previously sold the Dinar saying it is a scam after they quit selling it is a bunch of marlarky. Its amazing how much Dinar those banks already own and keeping it for themselves.

God is Blessing everyone that invested. We all have questions, and no one truely knows the answers until it happens and then the answere will be known.

Some people smoke their life away with $600 in cigarettes every month. If I invest $200 a month in dinar and it bellys up I figure I am still farther ahead than they are. It was cheap entertainment and I am still healthy.

I have to agree with cd, I feel the same about smoking, the average smoker spends in excess of $5000 a year on nothing but a shorter life of 13years and bad health to boot, so to spend money on an investment, even a speculation is a whole lot better in my book, and the upside when it pays is a major boost to one's pocket. I am from Australia and I'm in the Dina and it will pay...to all you skeptics, remember Germany during the ww2. many people hid billions of Deutschmarks which most used as fuel to keep themselves warm, after the war, there were more millionaires and billionaires created than at any other time in history.

Since we are extreamly close to the RV I would get 4 million dinar secured reserve. I buy from TreasuryVault.com and for each reserve it is $59.00 and you recieve 25000.00 Dinar after they receive payment and you then are able to by the 1 million at $1040.00 within 30 days. Total cost for me would be $236.00 for the 4 secured reserves pluse the transfer wire fee from your bank if you are paying that way. (They also have other Secured Reserve packages available.) I look at it this way, for 1 secured reserve a5 $59.00 I will have 25,000 Iraqi Dinar. Even if it only RV'd at $0.50 within the 30 days, that would be $12,500 USD. From that I would take $1040.00 and recieve the 1,000,000.00 IQD and @ $0.50, It would be $500,000 USD. Of course we know that it will be greater than the $0.50!

We have $100,000 Iraq Dinar but every time we got to xe.com, a currency converter site,it says that it is only worth about $86 Canadian Dollars.
How long will it be before it shows a decent return value?....I would love it if it even went to half of it's face value.

I would like someone to answer this question for me. Why doesn't anyone on Ebay or any of the major dinar dealers sell anything smaller than $1000 bills? The Iraqi's want to LOP the big bills, everybody else doesn't.
The bills from $500 to the $1 bill will be worth face vale after the RV but the big ones, sorry folks, they will LOP. Not one Iraqi wants us to make any money and when it comes the push and shove they will just say, sorry boys, it's a LOP. They are in the drivers seat and don't care what anyone thinks or does, it's their game, their rules. Too bad for us. They have the oil; and the control. Have a great day.

If you go to TreasuryVault.com They are selling 50's, 100's, 250's and 500's as well as the larger bills. When you are buying for someone on ebay or Amazon you are taking a chance that the bills are counterfit. It has happened quite often from an artical I read.

The day and the hour is almost on us to find out what will or won't happen. There is no reason it should not happen. The sad thing is, I have watched good friends pass away before this time who needed the financial boost for medical reasons. Not so critical of me, but also a necessity in the near future.
When I think of how simple it is to create wealth and the fact many become very wealthy within a matter of months, I think of all the contacts that I have had one these past few years who turn their noses up at great business ops, and a few of them have lost their homes.
Speculation can be a fun thing if you can afford to play the game of wait and see. Well, I feel I won't have to wait and see much longer and as for business, I will always engage no matter what. Simply because, if a few are rich and the majority are poor, the poor will eat the lunch of those who are rich. Lets hope for a happy wired end. Heads up tomorrow and thursday. Best wishes to all.

I have read through all of the comments here, more than half make sense to me because I too have invested, but for the doubters why are you here? If you feel so strongly that this is a scam, can you sell me your Dinars (I know that you have them) because I've done my homework and because of the gurus, I have gotten more into understanding as to what's going on, I suggest that you do the same before you start trying to rain on others parade, and insulting people.

If I lose my investment so be it, but if the RV happens like I am counting on to happen, then I am way ahead. Wish I had more to invest..................it's worth the risk. Its good to see a few more positive comments. I fail to see the reasoning as to why the obvious scam mongers bother to waste there own time in coming to this blog.
If they took a little more time out :) they could always read the 2003 report in its entirety...all198 pages.
Yes the Iraqi RV has been labelled a scam for many years but then again how long does it take a country to rebuild its infrastructure, politics and economic structure after its been blown apart by war,
certainly not overnight.
Yes there are probably people out there making a profit from trading in the Dinar...are they scammers ? or simply smart business people.
The big question of course is, will the RV ever actually happen and when. The answer can only be, it looks more promising for this year than at any time in the past.
But get real, hoping to make money on the RV has from day one been a punt , gamble or whatever you like to call it. No one is being scammed or tricked into buying Iraqi Dinar, its your own decision after your own due diligence.
If you have bought Dinar then at least you can have a pleasant little dream time occasionally. As long as you haven't based all your future hopes on this happening, then your dreams will not become a nightmare if it does not eventuate as you would hope.
I have seen all sorts of figures bandied about with regards to the RV like 3.2 US$ to the Dinar, once again I think get real. The Dinar was over valued back in Saddams day and its a whole new world now for Iraq.
However there may well be other factors that come into play in the very very near future. In terms of Global issues that will undoubtedly impact on any speculation or investment.

Well I believe that the RV will happen, its not a matter if but when. It may not be till next year who knows. But they have been talking of currency change that I heard and heard of people actually meeting for a few years I think. But I didn't know what it consist of, NOW I know, its going to be a global change in currency. I am hearing, banking crash next year, and all hell break loose all next year on this crash, stock up and get water filters and food, don't be blindsided. I really hope the RV happens this year, because I am putting my money in a 770 acct, most corportations survived the economy crash through this acct. it gets 4 to 6% everymonth, tax free, you can borrow against your own money. you also get dividends. No place I know has something like this.

Well I know most of you believe this on the dinars and dongs. Yes it will happen just don't know when. THis year hoping in the next few months. My daughter is just like me, we always have dreams of something that will happen. She dreamed June this will happen, Her dreams have always come true so far. We shall see!!! I bought Dinar at 1280:1 in 2005 while in the Navy Stationed in Kuwait.

I was told by one of the sellers online to stick it in a safe deposit box and forget about it for 10-15 years.

We are almost at 10 years since then now. it is now at 1166:1. Not much of an increase BUT it is an INCREASE in value right?

I doubt it will go backwards.

At one point the Dinar was over 3000:1 Dang wish I would have known about it then. The US govt. did and bought a lot.

I was always told don't invest or put money in to something that you couldn't afford to lose. Myself on one hand once I heard about this I worked overtime so I purchase more currency. So If you really do think this is a scam, then why did you purchase currency. You should have done your research.

I am wondering why there is never much mention about the Vietnamese Dong. It's all the rage about the Dinar. Personally, I think the Dong is a much more lucrative investment then the Dinar. I think the Dong will RV higher then the Dinar. I have both, but I am staking on the Dong. Peace, and GOD bless us all.
