It all started in 2003-04...U.S. General Hugh Tant III was asked to become the Director of the Iraqi Currency Exchange (ICE).

You can read all about how the new Iraqi Dinar, you now hold, was printed and distributed throughout Iraq.

It's a very easy to follow Q and A session with the general himself. At the time he was inside the ICE room of Saddam's palaces.

Iraq's Central Bank Releases Updated 500 Dinar Note...

Multiple Gurus from multiple camps have
confirmed a "new" dinar note has been released.

This is actually an UPDATED version to the 500
dinar note.

Why is this important?

It's because the note includes the Kurdish
language.

The Kurds have been fighting for inclusion
since the beginning.

It's in the constitution that the Kurdish
language be included on the notes.

Up until now, that promise has gone unfulfilled.

This is a BIG deal!

This suggests a long term relationship is
solidified.

We'll see if this leads to a permanent solution
for the all important HCL.

Lot's going on it Iraq and with the CBI these
past few month.

The IMF is pushing for international
status.

This could be another step to that
HUGE accomplishment! :)

Iraqi Dinar 50,000 Note revealed?

Below is one of the first images of the supposed new CBI announced 50K note.

This is NOT an official CBI image. We do not know if it's a real image just yet. But several gurus feel it's legitimate.

As you know 6 month ago the CBI retired the 50 dinar note. Many gurus believe there is a link between that action and the release of this new note. They feel the two notes would have been confused so they retired the 50's. We'll have to see what impact this will have, if any, moving forward...stay tuned!!

There are several things that make the note appear to be real currency...noted in red below (but know this could still be a doctored photo of a real currency note.)
